Edinburgh Social Enterprise / The Good Stuff Network Edinburgh CEO, Claire Pattullo steps down from her role to pursue new interests

After 7 years of leading one of the largest SENs in Scotland, Claire Pattullo is leaving Edinburgh Social Enterprise, home of The Good Stuff Network Edinburgh.
The ESE Board is seeking an individual with strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills to replace Claire in the spring.

Claire states:
‘It has been a privilege to lead ESE over the last 7 years and watch membership grow and evolve and to ultimately support and develop social enterprises and entrepreneurs. I have enjoyed developing the range of support and opportunities for members as well as ensuring they and the wider social enterprise community in Edinburgh were represented at local, regional, national and even international levels. It has been at times challenging, but always rewarding and I believe that despite the current operating climate, social enterprise will continue to flourish and become more ‘mainstream’ in the years to come. The resilience, determination and resourcefulness of those who set up and run social enterprises shone through the pandemic and current energy crisis. The launch of TGSNE last year will give even greater opportunities to expand the network and bring socially enterprising businesses and social enterprises together to make positive social impact.
Whilst I have lots of new ventures ahead of me, I will continue to support social enterprise in the future.’

Emma Galloway, Chair of ESE states:
‘We are extremely grateful for the way that Claire has led and built the organisation over the past 7 years, supporting both our members and team through very challenging and unprecedented times. Claire has represented the sector exceptionally well, within the TSI Network, Social Enterprise Network and at different forums, including most recently as the Chair of the Regional Enterprise Council of the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal and has helped create conditions for Social Enterprises to thrive. The board, staff and Doogie Goodstuff will miss her infectious enthusiasm, sense of fun and passion for life.
We will be recruiting a new CEO later this week, details of the role and how to apply can be found here
Claire will remain in post until we appoint the new CEO.’
