Social Enterprise Day 2025

From last years figures, there are 6103 social enterprises operating in Scotland, employing the FTE of 90,050 employees delivering an incredible service within their community 👫 Scotland’s social enterprises bring in £5.2bn of annual income to the economy!

As we do everyday, we want to continue celebrating the incredible talent and diversity of social enterprises operating in Edinburgh, so to do that we wanted you to hear from the social enterprises themselves.

Edinburgh’s Third Sector Interface Partnership exists to support people and communities to thrive

Edinburgh TSI is a partnership of three organisations which help to support and develop the city’s third sector.

Edinburgh Social Enterprise Network (ESEN) Volunteer Edinburgh & Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council (EVOC) provide leadership, vision and coordination to the local third sector to better respond to local priorities, including through partnership and collaboration.

The Pitt – Weekend Independent Food & Stalls Market in Edinburgh

Every Saturday & Sunday from 12pm – 5pm, The Pitt open’s it’s doors with a free entry market including jewellery, ceramics, bakery, vintage, fresh produce, artisan food, prints and a range of incredible street food vendors.
