Fresh Start is an Edinburgh-based charity that works directly with people who are moving on from homelessness, providing essential household goods and social support services to help them start a new chapter in their lives.

We use our experience of working with ‘hard to reach’ individuals to provide qualifications and training which are Trauma Informed and accessible. Delivered by experts, informed by our members. Every penny raised through our Learning Centre goes back into providing frontline services, for those who need them most.

The Big Issue is a weekly publication sold by homeless and vulnerably housed individuals who buy the magazine for £1.25 and sell it to the public for £2.50, keeping £1.25 for each magazine they sell, providing an opportunity to earn a legitimate income and an alternative to begging.
