Edinburgh Open Workshop
Edinburgh Open Workshop is a pay-as-you-go open access makerspace offering workbenches, fabrication bays, machinery, hand tools, consumables, technical support, storage and much more!
Grassmarket Community Project
The Grassmarket Community Project supports people through transitions in their lives and re-connects the disengaged. They run four social enterprises through the project: their successful wood workshop GrOW, creating bespoke pieces of furniture from recycled wood; a purpose-designed conference and event space; a cafe and catering service and the manufacture of tartan items including their very own "greyfriars" tartan.
Remode Collective
Remode Collective is an award-winning social enterprise based in Edinburgh. We're passionate about exploring ways to repurpose textiles locally, building new skills, and celebrating multicultural diversity.

The Edinburgh Tool Library
The Edinburgh Tool Library is the UK's first tool library, promoting sharing as a way of reducing our environmental impact.
We lend our members tools for DIY, gardening, decorating and machine repair, so they don't need to own them. This collaborative approach make sense environmentally, and also helps our members financially.
