EWP (formerly known as the Edinburgh Wheels Project CIC) delivers new community skateboarding and recreational facilities while simultaneously providing best-in-class training-for-work-programs for young people.
While we deliver training on a regular basis, our last major cohort (14 people, July 2025) all passed their CSCS green card and are now in fulltime or contract employment.
We are a registered CIC (Community Interest Company/Social Enterprise) and beholden to those restrictions and opportunities. Colin Whiteford, CEO has a decade in community organising and building community facilities.
EWP is a community project committed to building world class skating facilities and providing employment opportunities for young people.
We have a proven track record of building competition grade facilities and hosting national championships.
We are passionate about building our community and addressing the issue of youth unemployment and the associated impact.
